Our Hydrological Services

Our Hydrological Services at The Department of Water Resources are dedicated to the establishment and maintenance of monitoring networks for both surface and groundwater. This includes overseeing river and stream networks, as well as groundwater observation systems. The department collects essential hydrological and hydrogeological data, such as river water levels, groundwater levels, and key physiochemical properties such as pH, salinity, and temperature. Additionally, data on water abstraction and drilling investigations are compiled, processed, and archived. This valuable information is used to generate early warnings and support decision-making for sustainable water resource management and environmental protection.
