 SEA SAFETY ADVISORY ALERT: Rough sea with significant wave heights of (2.6m) will prevail over The Gambia territorial waters from Today 6:00pm to Thursday 4:00 pm 27th March 2025.

Fishermen and other users at the sea are advice to use maximum sea safety regulations at all fishing landing sites during the period.

Inshore Waters- 1 & 2: Up to 20 Nautical miles (37km) inside the Sea

Winds: Will vary between northwesterly and northerly flow with speed ranging from 13 - 30 km/h.

Wave Height:  will be 0.5 – 1.3 meters high.

Sea State:  Slight to moderate

Weather: Dust haze

Visibility: Poor

Offshore Waters- 1 & 2: From 20 up to 200 Nautical Miles (37km - 370km) into the high Sea

Winds: Will be northerly flow with speed ranging from 20 - 32 km/h.

Wave Height:  Will be 1.4– 2.6 meters high.

Sea State: Moderate

Weather: Dust haze

Visibility: Poor
