SEA SAFETY ADVISORY ALERT: Rough sea is expected to persist with significant wave height of (2.6 meters) over the inshore and offshore areas.

This condition is expected form Saturday on the 25th January 2025 at 1800z to Wednesday 29th January 2025 at 1800z.

Fishermen and other users of the sea are advised to use maximum sea safety advisory regulations in all fishing landing sites across the country.

Inshore Waters- 1 & 2: Up to 20 Nautical miles (37km) inside the Sea

Winds: Will vary between Northwesterly and Northerly flow with a speed ranging from 17–35km/h.

Wave Height: will be 0.7 – 2.4 meters high.

Sea State: Moderate to rough

Weather: Fair

Visibility: Good

Offshore Waters- 1 & 2: From 20 up to 200 Nautical Miles (37km - 370km) into the high Sea

Winds: Will be mainly Northerly flow with a speed ranging from 25–37km/h.

Wave Height: Will be 1.2 – 2.6 meters high.

Sea State: Rough
