Summary:

SEA SAFETY ADVISORY ALERT: Rough sea is expected to persist with significant wave height of (3.0 meters) and strong winds over the inshore and offshore areas.

This condition is expected to continue until Friday on the 24th January 2025 at 1200z through on the early hours of Saturday 25th January 2025 at 0000z.

Fishermen and other users of the sea are advised to use maximum sea safety advisory regulations in all fishing landing sites across the country.

Inshore Waters- 1 & 2: Up to 20 Nautical miles (37km) inside the Sea

Winds: Will vary between Northwesterly and Northerly flow with a speed ranging from 14–34km/h.

Wave Height: will be 0.7 – 2.3 meters high.

Sea State: Moderate to rough

Weather: Fair

Visibility: Good

Offshore Waters- 1 & 2: From 20 up to 200 Nautical Miles (37km - 370km) into the high Sea

Winds: Will vary between Northwesterly and Northerly flow with a speed ranging from 21–37km/h.

Wave Height: Will be 1.2 – 2.8 meters high.

Sea State: Rough

Weather: Fair

Visibility: Good
