SEA SAFETY ADVISORY ALERT: Rough sea with significant wave heights of (2.9m) and strong winds of (32km/h) will persist over The Gambia territorial waters from Sunday morning the 16th February 2025.
These conditions are expected to continue and affect sea front and coastal communities until 1800UTC Thursday 20th February 2025.
Fishermen and other users of the sea are advice to use maximum sea safety advisory in all fishing landing sites during the forecast period.

Winds: Will vary between Northwesterly and Northerly flow with speed ranging from 12 - 27 km/h.
Wave Height: will be 0.5–2.5 meters high.
