Moderate to strong winds expected, from Thursday evening on the 05th to Sunday afternoon 08th December 2024, over the Gambian territorial waters, which may cause threat to fishing activity, livelihoods and properties. Fishermen and other users are advised to observe maximum sea safety regulation.

Validity: For 24 Hours Ffrom 1800UTC, Tthursaday 05th to Friday 06th December 2024.

Inshore Waters- 1 & 2: Up to 20 Nautical miles (37km) inside the Sea

Winds: Will be mainly northeasterly flow with a speed ranging from 16 – 37km/h.

Wave Height: will be 0.5 – 1.9 meters high.

Sea State: Slight to Moderate

Visibility: Moderate

Offshore Waters- 1 & 2: From 20 up to 200 Nautical Miles (37km - 370km) into the high Sea

Winds: Will be mainly northeasterly flow with a speed ranging from 20-40km/h.

Wave Height: Will be 1.3– 2.2 meters high.

Sea State: Slight to Moderate
